For over a decade, airlines have been in the spotlight of ecological transition authorities due to the increase in global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from their operations. Simultaneously, heightened social awareness of environmental impacts and the growing demand for more sustainable consumption and production patterns have prompted the implementation of measures to urgently address the climate crisis.
