Conclusion The use of artificial intelligence is widely spread within the travel and tourism industry. The aim of this work is to analize the impact that the new regulation on artificial intelligence, the Artificial Intelligence Act, will have on the tourism industry. Therefore, the scope and objectives of the Act will be presented, along with the analysis of the concept of artificial intelligence provided in the Act and the classification of the different artificial intelligence systems and applicable obligations set out in the regulation. Finally, the implications of these new rules for the use of artificial intelligence in the travel and tourism industry will also be assessed.
