INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF TOURISM, TRAVEL AND HOSPITALITY LAW experience that only they can offer. This absolute advantage can be natural or man-made. These absolute benefits need to be considered through the lens of climate change. The questions that arise are: does climate change modify the absolute tourist advantage that has just been defined? If so, how does he change it? To provide some answers to these questions, it is necessary to analyze a certain number of examples of absolute advantages faced with the risk of climate change. Such is the case of the recent Louvre Abu Dhabi museum, built on the sea which benefits from an absolute double advantage: That of a unique architectural concept which alone constitutes a work of art imagined by the architect Jean Nouvel and that of bringing together unique collections mainly from the Louvre Paris museum. This absolute advantage that has enabled Abu Dhabi to successfully develop a cultural tourism development strategy is now facing the consequences of climate change with the risk of rising sea levels. Also in the case of Louvre Abu Dhabi ,(Dhabi, 2019)37. However, a probable increase of 0.3 meters in sea level is the most optimistic scenario, the pessimistic scenario is an increase, by 2100, of 2.5 meters. With these two scenarios, it should be noted that the preventive measures with construction at an altitude of 40 meters above sea level, the absolute tourist advantage of Louvre Abu Dhabi should not normally be impacted.(Lindsey, 2019)38. This is due to the fact that preventive measures were adopted during the recent construction, in 2017, of this museum. This example indicates that the tourism absolute advantage is less affected by the consequences of expected climate change than the tourism comparative advantage. 6. CLIMATE AND THE EVOLUTION OF TOURIST ADVANTAGE IN COUNTRIES WITH AN ARID CLIMATE Climate is an important factor for tourism in countries with an arid climate, as it can influence the evolution of tourism comparative advantage. Tourist destinations in these countries are characterized by very hot and sunny temperatures, with low rainfall. Their comparative advantage comes largely from their climate, which allows them to attract tourists in search of sun and warmth, especially during the winter months.
