COMPLEMENTARY AND INTERNATIONAL REGULATIONS AFFECTING THE SECTOR Live Performances and Events in Gastronomic Establishments Some gastronomic establishments include live music performances as part of their commercial offerings. This activity is regulated by AGC Resolution 268/2009, which defines what constitutes a live musical performance and outlines the specific requirements for authorization. These include soundproofing measures, safety protocols, permitted hours, and venue capacity limits. Obtaining this permit is essential to avoid penalties or closures. Intellectual Property: Use of Televisions in Establishments Many gastronomic venues offer customers access to audiovisual content via televisions. This practice falls under Law 11.723 on Intellectual Property, which protects the rights of authors of audiovisual and musical works. As such, establishments must obtain proper licenses for public broadcasting of protected content, usually managed by entities such as SADAIC, ARGENTORES, or CAPIF.
