future, will have to, also with a view to the full realization of an intergenerational justice,78 be increasingly capable of grafting into the proceduralization of public interests of a tourist nature those positive nudges79 capable of enthusing the traveler towards an idea of an otherwise tourist, equally valid and rewarding, as is precisely that which knows how to immerse itself in the deep ties of a community, large or small, finding, in every stone it treads, and in the psychic foundation of the landscape,80the sense of the places81 it encounters. The positive spin-offs of such a good administrative practice could easily contribute to the improvement of the most topical problems that are today related to uncontrolled tourism by allowing the emergence, almost in a sort of heterogenesis of ends, of undertourism, those so-called second best of the cultural heritage present in a given geographic space together, moreover, with the not secondary possibility of bringing to emersion the beauty of a so-called slow tourism82 that on our inimitable territory, among the breathtaking landscapes and an organic food and wine could allow visitors to discover and meet really everything, even happiness. IX. CASE HISTORY In a technocentric society, even the concept of smart tourism slides toward a meaning predominantly related to the use of technology and its application as an integral part of the tourism experience in both the planning phase of the trip and the enjoyment of it. The contemporary tourist, therefore, having an increasingly active role in the consumption process and becoming both producer and consumer, i.e. prosumer, 78 On these aspects, especially for an ethical and phenomenological reading, see the praiseworthy work by F. G. Menga, Intergenerational ethics Morcelliana 2021. For a positivist-administrativist reading, albeit de iure condendo, see instead the very useful work by F. Fracchia, Intergenerational duties. The perspective of the administrativeist and the need for a general theory of intergenerational duties, in Diritto dell’Economia 2021. 79 The reference here is a must to the highly topical R.H. Thaler, C.R. Sunstein, Nudge. The gentle push, Feltrinelli 2009. But see on the general theory of due process A. Zito, The principle of due process, in M. Renna, F. Saitta (eds) Studies on the principles of administrative law, Giuffré 2012. 80 On such intrapsychic fold of territory and landscape, Cf., V. Lingiardi, Mindscapes. Psyche in the landscape, Raffaello Cortina editore 2017. 81 Use the title of one of the many books, which tell the dense poetics of small villages and abandoned places, by V. Teti, The Sense of Places. Memory and history of abandoned villages. Donzelli 2004. 82 For a good understanding of this concept see P. Sansot, On the Good Use of Slowness. The right rhythm of life, The Assayer 2021. To which add the interesting works of D. Le Breton, Walking. In Praise of Paths and Beauty, Path Editions 2018; as well as Ib., On Silence.
