conformity; affix the CE marking to the high-risk AI system or, where that is not possible, on its packaging or its accompanying documentation, to indicate conformity with the Regulation; comply with the registration obligations; take the necessary corrective actions and provide the required information; upon a reasoned request of a national competent authority, demonstrate the conformity of the high-risk artificial intelligence system with the requirements set out in the Regulation; ensure that the high-risk artificial intelligence system complies with accessibility requirements in accordance with Directives (EU) 2016/210217 and (EU) 2019/88218. The Artificial Intelligence Act also identifies specific obligations for Deployers: according to article 26, deployers of high-risk artificial intelligence systems shall take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure they use such systems in accordance with the instructions for use accompanying the systems; they shall assign human oversight to natural persons who have the necessary competence, training and authority, as well as the necessary support; deployers shall monitor the operation of the high-risk artificial intelligence system on the basis of the instructions for use and, where relevant, inform providers; they shall keep the logs automatically generated by that high-risk artificial intelligence system to the extent such logs are under their control; before putting into service or using a high risk artificial intelligence system at the workplace, Deployers who are employers must inform workers’ representatives and the affected workers that they will be subject to the use of such system; deployers of high risk artificial intelligence systems that are public authorities, or Union institutions, bodies, offices or agencies must register the intended use on the EU database; deployers of high risk artificial intelligence systems shall comply with their obligation to carry out a data protection impact assessment under Article 35 of the General Data Protection Regulation; deployers of high risk artificial intelligence systems referred to in Annex III that make decisions or assist in making decisions related to natural persons shall inform the natural persons that they are subject to the use of the high risk artificial intelligence system; deployers shall cooperate with the competent authorities in any action those authorities take in relation to the high risk artificial intelligence system. 17 Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies 18 Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on the accessibility requirements for products and services 93 THE IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE REGULATIONS ON THE TOURISM INDUSTRY
