The Quality Label “Winery Open to the Public” The Quality Label “Winery Open to the Public” is granted by the competent Regional Tourism Directorate of the Greek Ministry of Tourism in the territorial jurisdiction of which the winemaking or wine-producing facility is located. It is a special logo (see Figure 4) that certifies the legal operation of a winemaking or wine-producing business as a wine tourism facility. The Label is valid for five years from the date of issue and it is revoked in case the business does not comply with the required specifications. The Ministry of Tourism maintains an Electronic Registry of Wine Tourism Businesses.
